The Designer Emporium began operation in November 2007 to showcase Crafts by women. The Emporium helps by providingh a venue for these women to showcase and sell their handcrafted items and artistic works to spohisticated shoppers who appreciate the time and effort it takes to crate a unique and handmade items.

The Cleaveland Harbourside Craft village is situated within the Redlands which is 35 km from Brisbane and was crated with the Clevelands Shopping Centre, Cleveland Harbourside, and the marketeer,Peter Hackworth, (also responsible for running Southbank Markets and the Riverside Markets in Brisbane).


The Cleaveland Harbourside Craft Village has over 400 sites based right in the heart of Cleveland. An enormous tourist crowd flocks to Cleveland every Sunday to experience this new and exciting upmarket style of Markets.

The Bondi Beach Community Market overlooks the Sydney Bondi Beach and operates at night on every day except monday. The Bondi beach market has been operating since 1994 and is one of the longest running night markets.


The variety of handcrafts and art includes crafts such as handmade soaps, metalwork items, jewellery, clothes, and not forgetting glass blowing. The markets does have a variety of other items on sale as well as services such as face painting, local food and restrauants, helping you enjoy a great evening out with the whole family.

The St Kilda esplanade market is run every sunday from 10 am through to 5pm, featuring a large variety of hand made arts and crafts (over 150 artisans and handcrafters).


The St Kilda Esplanade Craft Market has been operating since 1970 and like many emerging craft markets, the St Kilda espalade markets, firstly is insisting on the items being sold at the esplanade market are hand made by the individual artisan and hand crafter and secondly the St Kilda(Port Phillip) council, inssts on vetting the quality of the handcrafts and artwork, ensuring that only the best artisans are at the Esplanade.

The Viewing session is held every quarter in the St Kilda Library, where you present you art and handcrafted items. Should you be successful then you have the opportunity to either be a casual stall holder ($60 / week) or a permanent Stall holder ($541 per quarter) … fees accurate as at 23 march 2009.
